Job Type: Permanent
Location: Lon, SE, HC\'s, Eastern
Salary: £24018 - £39725 per annum
Job Phase: Primary/Elementary School
Job Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher

Our client school caters for children from the ages of 4 to 11 and is located in the heart of Waltham Cross close to the London Borough of Enfield.

Staff at the school work hard to teach the core skills of reading, writing and mathematics whilst also ensuring that the wider curriculum is promoted - including science, physical education, computing, the arts and humanities. Children at the school are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom.

Children demonstrate the schools' values of perseverance, self-control, creativity, kindness and collaboration and there has yet to be a visitor to the school who hasn't commented on the children's excellent behaviour and attitude to learning.

The school motto is 'Success for All' so expectations for the whole community - staff and children alike - are unashamedly high.

We are looking to appoint a committed, passionate and creative teacher to join the school's Key Stage 2 team - there is some flexibility in terms of specific year group. The school offer an extremely friendly and supportive working environment with a strong commitment to collaborative planning and continued professional development.

Comment from the Headteacher, "With a headteacher and deputy headteacher who only recently stopped being class teachers, we remember all too well the hours and effort that go into being a great teacher. We are committed to developing our school in ways that ensures teachers' workload is manageable while still providing the very best education for every child. We ensure we reward teachers' hard work, for example, through accelerated pay progression, along with other arrangements that make the job that bit easier - for example, the option of taking PPA at home. Whilst we believe that English, maths and science form the foundations of an effective primary education, we also value and promote a wider curriculum and enrichment opportunities. Having recently been graded as Good by Ofsted, and in line with our vision statement, we are looking for innovative ways to ensure that the curriculum at our school extends beyond the classroom. Applicants with a background in or passion for a particular subject, sport or interest, would be encouraged to apply."

Our client school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will need a recognised teaching qualification and be eligible to work in the UK in order to be considered for the post.
