One of our client schools in Hounslow, west London are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Science to join them full-time from September 2018. This would be a permanent role, for the right teacher. Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialists are all equally welcome to apply. No previous experience as Head of Department or Second in Department is required, so if you are keen to lead a department for the first time, then this could be the ideal role for you as the school would be supportive in helping you to become a successful lead for their Science team. The school has a vibrant and diverse staff team and are looking for a committed and encouraging teacher to join them for this role.

The school is a small, dynamic mixed 11-18 school with a very dedicated staff workforce and a great team ethos. They offer all three Sciences at A-Level and also teach up to Triple Award Science at GCSE. They offer a supportive environment in a brand new building with dedicated specialist areas. They also have excellent up-to-date technology available within the school, as well as a great sports hall and newly landscaped grounds, all of which can be used to enhance learning. The school is only a short distance from main London transport links, so is easily accessible by car or public transport. As they are based in Hounslow, the role would also come with additional 'Outer London' pay weighting.

In order to be a successful candidate for this Head of Science role you will be an excellent team player and will share the school's passion for encouraging all students to work towards their maximum potential.

Our client school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
