Our client school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to lead this important area of the school. As an associate member of the school leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of the school site, leading key teams of support staff, financial control and marketing and promoting the school. A key element of the post will be securing best value services into the future as the school moves to Academy status from February 2012.
As an effective communicator with proven leadership and management skills, you will take a lead role in the strategic development of the future of the school with the Governors and Senior Leadership Team. The ability to motivate and support a range of staff is essential, alongside practical experience of financial and business management.
The successful applicant will have a recognised management or business degree / equivalent related professional or financial qualification. You will have experience of managing budgets and financial reporting as well as managing teams. Prior expereince at management level within an educational or public sector environment might also be beneficial.
